It is a gift...

I snapped this pic on a gloomy day last week. Beyond this grey sky was a beautiful silver-lined, puffy, white cloud. Made me think of one of my fave songs by 311. So I'm sharing it with you, enjoy and have a great day!

Check out the Bedroom 8 Paradise Remix Radio Edit, it ROCKS!!

Off of her first album 19 here is Best for Last:

Adele reminds me of Etta James, her look and her sound are classic. I'd love to hear her sing Etta's 1961 hit "At Last". She could sing in an upcoming episode of Mad Men... in a Glee sorta way. (BTW, keep an eye out for my upcoming Mad Men post. Yes, I was a little late to that party, but thanks to Netflix I am almost caught up. Love the interiors, I bet set designing for that show is sooo much fun!)

BHLDN Music

I've had so many people asking me if I knew what song is featured on the new BHLDN website (see my previous post here).

The song titled "What are we waiting for" is by Amiina, an Icelandic group made up of six, read more about them on their BIO page here. Want more? Head on over to their website http://www.amiina.com/ and here is a link to youtube to hear the song performed live. Enjoy!
